CAT/KITTEN ADOPTION FEES

Our adoption fee for an adult cat is £75 and for a kitten it is £95.  This goes a little way to offset the vet treatment given to the cats/kitten when taken into our care, a saving to the new owner of between £160 and £180.

Cats are vet checked neutered/microchipped/vaccinated/parasite treated and any other treatment deemed necessary, ie dental.

In the case of kittens they have their 1st vaccination at 9 weeks old with the 2nd one at 12 weeks old.  If the kittens are homed before they reach 12 weeks old, the branch still pay for 2nd vaccination/neutering/microchipping/parasite treatment.

As you can see the Adoption Fees of £75 and £95 are very reasonable.

CATS IN OUR CARE

We don't always
advertise all the cats in our care on our website.  We often advertise these cats on our facebook page - which can be found under Tain & District Branch Cats Protection.

We tend to use this as it is immediately available to folks who do follow us on facebook and who don't always think to check our website.

We can be contacted in the following way:

A POSTER TO HELP CAT OWNERS WHO ALSO LIKE TO WELCOME BIRDS INTO THEIR GARDENS:

Tain Branch is a very small Branch made up of very enthusiastic and hard working volunteers.  We do our very best to make sure that any cat(s) who come into our care are found new and loving homes.  We rely on our group of fosterers, who each have specifically designed pens in their gardens, to look after and make sure every cat is vet checked, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before going to their new home.

We cover the following postcodes:  IV17: IV18: IV19: IV20: IV24: IV25: IV27: IV28: KW8: KW9: KW10:  These postcodes cover the area from Invergordon in Ross-shire to Helmsdale in Sutherland and west over to Loch Inver.
